Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatch Executive to manage dispatch operations, vehicle coordination, documentation, and timely delivery of finished goods. The role involves close coordination with production, warehouse, transporters, and customers to ensure smooth dispatch activities and adherence to delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch activities as per sales orders and delivery schedules.
- Prepare dispatch documents including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, LR copies, and transport documentation.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for vehicle placement and timely dispatches.
- Ensure accurate loading and dispatch of materials as per customer requirements.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and track deliveries to ensure on-time shipment.
- Maintain dispatch records, vehicle details, and transportation logs.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for material availability and dispatch readiness.
- Resolve dispatch-related issues, delays, shortages, or transportation concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports for management review.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of dispatch operations and logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with e-way bill generation and dispatch documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and warehouse processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple dispatches simultaneously.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, cement, paints, ceramics, or related industries preferred.
- Understanding of transportation and logistics operations.
- Experience in handling dispatch documentation and vehicle coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma or certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations will be an added advantage.
